Maintenance

 

  • Mow Meyer Zoysia every 7-10 days. Meyer Zoysia is best kept between 1.25" and 2.5".

  • Use a mower with sharp blades. Use a rotary mower.

  • Use pre-emergent herbicide in the Fall and Spring to prevent weed germination.

  • De-thatch the lawn every couple of year based on mowing height. Taller lawns need to be de-thatched more often than shorter lawns.
